The past few weeks have been pretty good. Slowly starting to feel the squirming of the little guy. I've somewhat questioned my instincts over the past 3 weeks or so only to have them confirmed last night. It's definitely him that I'm feeling. I was laying in bed last night doing my normal flipping and flopping that I do every night for about 30 minutes or so...and whenever I would get settled I could feel "something." When it kept happening I was pretty confident that it was him! Now just to wait until Matt can feel him!
Spring Break begins shortly and I cannot wait....really cannot wait! It's been a really tough year and I tend to look forward to my vacations. We're leaving after school tomorrow and headed to the big town of Dawson, GA. It'll be nice to get away and do NOTHING!! It'll be Matt, Me, Mom, Dad, Carey, Laurie, and Caylee.....I think we're picking up my Grandfather along the way too!
Spring Break also brings another sneak peak at the growing guy. We go for another ultrasound on Thursday 4/1. It's funny, since January, all of my appointments have been on holidays (MLK Day, President's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and now April Fools Day). I did NOT plan any of them. it was just the every four weeks or so. The only one I adjusted was they wanted me to come earlier in March, but I explained that I was an FCAT teacher and needed to wait until the following week. Only problem is that May doesn't really have any holidays around my next visit. May Day and Mother's Day both fall on the weekend......
I'll get back with you to share after Thursday's u/s. We're praying that all is well...I'm sure it is...I feel great....just a little lazy, but sometimes that's great too!
